Summary:
This Head Unit is amazing. It has awesome graphics and some amazing sound. It never skips either.

Strengths:
The bass control, cd changer control, xm radio ready, and mp3 player add to an already stelar unit!

Weaknesses:
The faceplate dosent detach.

Summary:
I have to say I love this head unit. Great design. Beautiful graphics. I have it hooked up to a DVD Player, a Minidisc Changer and XM Tuner and it works great with eveything. The sound is great as well. Autoscroll is flawless.

Strengths:
-Fast MP3 Recognition -Works well with all addtional Sony Products -Intergration with XM Tuner is amazing compared to other Sony Models.

Weaknesses:
Face does not completly black out due to silver trim.

This baby loads your MP3's real quick and has no problem to play them below 0'F either...(Canuck Winters) Excellent value for the price and motorized faceplate seems to be rock solid... Overall 5/5 looks 4/5 durability 4/5 workmanship 4/5 sound quality(except AM:1/5) 3/5 remote control (infrared )

-Sound quality is optomized to it's best -Setting are you easy to learn -Displays are amazing -Lots of lots features

Weaknesses:
-Auto-scroll is somewhat weak (too fast) -Faceplate NOT DETACHABLE (theft)

Summary:
i just got this cd player a few days ago. i had a older sony cd player so installion was easy used the old wireing harness.for some reason this head unit puts out a better signal for my sub woofer amp much more bass. very nice looking top of the line display plays mp3 cds really well

Strengths:
sound quality display lots of adjustments of the EQ

Weaknesses:
i blew the main power fuse in for my amps. i think it is because it push`s the bass alot harder

Summary:
Upgraded from CDX-7000x also, and I am very impressed. The best part so far is the XTXM1 intergration and the MP3 playback. I would most definetly recomend this CD player to anyone.

Strengths:
Only sony deck to support autoscroll, show clock, and use graphic backgrounds with xtxm1 XM tuner connected.

Weaknesses:
None at all.
