Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $190.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 DXZ615

Summary:
Excellent Overall. Great Sound Quality, uses dual 1-bit DAC's, used to be the ones they used in their pricey high end models 2 years ago until they switched to the 24-bit DAC (drool). Anyway I've never heard the 24-bit models but I really could care less, the sound quality from this unit is HEAVEN. Very crisp all the way through, wonderful imaging, I enjoy listening to music in my car more than anyway where else now.

Strengths:
Great Sound Quality Great Value

Weaknesses:
These are only minor annoyances, dont get me wrong: Buttons are small, some buttons you have to press like 5 times to get the setting or selector you want Fades easily in sun

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer, Sony Clarion is the best, sony is crap dont be fooled by the whole X-plod marketing gimick

Summary:
Bought it as a reconditioned unit at Best Buy for 160$ and regular price is 240$. Great looking and good sound quality but don;t buy a used one like I did because it never worked properly. I think I just got a really defective unit and it seems most of clariond work well

Weaknesses:
-Reliabilty -Hard to read in day time -Ended up making 4 trips to Best Buy and having it sent away to get repair for a 3rd time (2 times before I bought it) Tuner on it never has worked properly only CD.

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Bought this deck a little while ago to replace my Sony Xplode. The quality of the sound blew me away. It was inexpensive and is loaded with features like 4 volt preouts on all 6 channels, high powered at 50w x 4, High end CD Changer controller, the Beat EQ is powerful and it has a nice design and look with the silver alone. Display is a little dull during the day, but at night is bright as hell.

Strengths:
high powered: 50w x 4 4 volt preouts CeNet CD Changer controller Great look

Weaknesses:
None

Similar Products Used:
Sony Xplode
