Summary:
great cd player,a bit picky when it comes to scratched cd's though,traded mine for an eclipse cd 8051...much happier

Summary:
Simply amazing. Only problem I ever had was a few times it wouldn't spit out the cd. I turned off the car, turned it back on, and it worked. That was maybe a year ago that it happened. So many options, so much power, so clear, and the looks are killer. I will never buy anything other than an Alpine headunit in the future. I would suggest buying one that plays MP3's, though.

Summary:
great cd player! alpine is by far the best car audio manufacturer in the buisness. i had a toss up between this and the 7894 but i choose this one for it's looks. the 7894 has MP3 playing, but that's all it has over this. it comes with Media Xpander which is great when listening to the radio. Bass Focus and Time Correction for the speakers, built in sub controls. every you could want plus more. The V-Drive puts out 27 watts RMS! that's a whole lot more than just about any deck i've ever seen.

Weaknesses:
no mp3 or wma, but that's not a big deal to me.
