Review 2 of 19

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Sight & Sound

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 CDA-7875

Summary:
Overall this is a nice stereo to have. It's very versitile. I only have 1 complaint though, for some reason no matter what I do I get an overwhelming about of treble on my deck. That's all you hear is the treble.

Strengths:
XM Radio Ready, 3 different angled positions, loud, settings are easy to configure

Weaknesses:
Only 1. The treble is overwhelming, no matter if you have it turned up loud or down low. Maybe it's just my deck though cuz no one else has mentioned that problem in their reviews.

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer, JVC, Panasonic

Review 4 of 19

Price Paid:  $349.00 from Now Audio Video

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001 Alpine CDA-7875

Summary:
This is a really sweet deck, it has all kinds of fun things to mess with like the nice crossover, BBE, Bass forward, Bass curve, and, what i like most, you can hook up a VCR, DVD Player, or a TV, and watch it in HIFI. if you want surround sound you will have buy a decoder. this deck can handle the power with no probs. and the display is phat, none of the distrations such as moving ships. And I got a great deal on it was 449 dollors and got it for 349 dollorsand a free 49 dollors remote, so I got 2 remotes. I got 2 Cerwin Vegas, 2 Sony Xplodes(Great speaker.handles lows without disstortion, and crisp highs.),Phoenix Gold Amp, and 2 Rockford Fosgate HX2 Powers, and with this deck just knocks it all to full blast

Strengths:
Crossover, BBE Technology, Bass Forward, Bass Curve, Bass Center, CD Text, AI Changer Control, 60Wx4, XM Ready, Aux. Plugs to hook up a TV, VCR, or a DVD Player. It can drive the power without stress.

Weaknesses:
It is not an MP3 Player

Similar Products Used:
Monsoon Sound System, Sony Xplode, JVC Elkemelian.

I love this deck! Great features.. No BS stuff that just gets u to buy the decks " like dolphins and stuff" And turns out to be a low quality deck.

Strengths:
Good power. Nice Looks Alpine

Weaknesses:
The text scrolling is really slow.. But I hardly have any cd-text cds so doesnt really matter

Similar Products Used:
I had a older model of alpine and that was great too. Just wanted to upgrade.
