Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $165.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
1998 eclipse

Summary:
overall great deck....great looking especially at night....sound depends on what kinda amp you have..if u have a good one u have a good sound if u dont then u dont....great sound shaping features especially in the bass area..has a pause button which is really important for some people..solid cd player...looks are better than most though..thats the difference!

Strengths:
looks...makes ur car look futuristic..... sound....doesnt have any internal power so i should say sound shaping features...

Weaknesses:
bright blue can cause u 2 take ur eyes off the road...kinda tricky to install..need pro help

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $800.00 from a&b sound

Year / Model Reviewed:
 97tj cda 7965

Summary:
Im not sure what this stereo sounds like without speakers but im sure it works?!!?

Strengths:
stereo sounds great as long as you spend $3000 on good subs and an amp and 4 speakers

Weaknesses:
BRIGHT BLUE does not change at night. You can either turn it off completly or jimmy your jacket so it covers the display

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I bought this unit off my friend, I took out a 350 dollar sony deck and stuck this in. It was like going from night to day, I looks sweet and has the quality of alpine. It plays CD-RWs im not sure bout the MP3 cds yet though.

Strengths:
BBE !!! Ownes anyhting. It lets to adjust the width of the sound wave the sub lets off. It goes down to 80, this makes the bass sound fuller. It has ALL pre outs , no BS. Mids preout , subs preout , Aux preout for things like a cd changer. 4 v preouts :) enough juice to keep ya going strong

Weaknesses:
The higher models , that cost like 1200 + and stretch the bass width to 20 instead of 80. Now that deep . Instead of BBE the higher up models have "MX" and is different and better then BBE. Dont confuse MX the XM Radio.

Nothing compares to this Alpine deck
