Review 2 of 10

Price Paid:  $1100.00 from Go-Ho Auto Audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 Honda Civic

Summary:
I bought this unit back in 1999 and people still look at it like its brand new. Adding the in dash changer was great for long rides. The 12" Eclipse sub provides the punch.

Strengths:
Easy to hide away and easy to use.

Weaknesses:
The Navigation system never came out and you have to manually flip up the screen for use.

Review 3 of 10

Price Paid:  $510.00 from Ebay (new)

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001 GMC Yukon

Summary:
First of all I was happy that the receiver was new since I ebay'ed it, and am completely happy with what I've seen so far.

Strengths:
The screen is crystal clear, comparable to my Wega TV at home, and the brain box is easy to hide and simplifies everything. Also, the black plain face makes it look inconspicuous and doesn't draw too much attn until I pop open the screen and all the ladies lose their minds! I can play virtually any game on XBox as if I were on a normal TV, and I am satisfied with the in depth control for my L7's I have.

Weaknesses:
One major weakness/ complaint I see and have is when the screen isn't open. You can play music w/o opening the screen, but there is no display when the screen is folded up, and no clock when it's folded up either. I just wish it told me the volume and time and station when the screen wasn't up, but oh well. Also, the screen is a bit small and wayyyyyyyyyy wider than it is high, but it's easy to get over.

Similar Products Used:
The only similar product I've seen was at BestBuy, when I saw an Audiovox overhead monitor. The Eclipse is in another league and can't even be compared to that piece they try to sell.

Summary:
I love this screen it works great and it is easy to use. I have a PS2 hooked up and looks awesome. I will only trust the Eclipse line that is all I have. Eclipse 7002 with in-dash 6 disc changer and two 12" aluminums. I love it all

Strengths:
Easy to use. Don't have to be a rocket scientist to use. I love how easy it is to adjust the sub level.

Weaknesses:
None

Review 5 of 10

Price Paid:  $750.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000/Accord

Summary:
An above average unit for the price i paid. Installation was a breeze. Just have to make room for the brain somewhere in u'r car. Pretty good manual too. Works well w/ the eclipse cd changer.

Strengths:
Good looking screen nice and clean. Controls are easy to learn. Pleasing to the eyes.

Weaknesses:
Navigation for the unit never went through production. Even though there is a NAVI button the unit. The screen only pulls out of the dash and doesn;t flip up vertically. YOu have to turn it manually upwards everytime u want to view the screen. THere is hissing from all the speakers when the unit is connected to a/v inputs.
