Good head unit, a little background noise but pretty clean. You can crank it very high before it distorts. IT DOES NOT HAVE CD TEXT CAPABILITY. only the kdc-5011 & the kdc-6011 have that.

Strengths:
Slick, EZ controls,changer controls

Weaknesses:
a little background noise, no cd text

i really like this unit all but the fact it skips when bass hits. I would not recomend this to anyone who plans on running a system because it is useless.

sharp head unit,easy controls

Weaknesses:

Review 4 of 5

Price Paid:  $270.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 98 neon

Summary:
I think this was a good deal, I bought like 2 and a half to three years ago. Its been pumping clean music to all my aftermarket amps and speakers, I like this item. Mine has power antenna support, its a light blue cable on the harness, thats what I use to turn on my amplifiers.

Strengths:
For the time I bought it, it is a good receiver, 4 preouts, flip down face, and can display cd text if you have a text reading CD changer.

Weaknesses:
low preout voltage

JVC, Pioneer

 1996 Altima

Summary:
I think if you don't have power antenna this is a good headunit to get.

Strengths:
Good CD player and antiskip. Good functions too.

Weaknesses:
No Power antenna support (so if you have one, you'll get crap am/fm).
