Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $250.00 from Ebay

Summary:
Just what you would expect from Pionner...nothing but the best! The screensavers are awesome. There are so many adjustments on this reciever that you can tune the music to fit your needs perfectly. The built-in crossover is great! Everything about this CD player is great...too may features to list. Anybody who hasn''t had a Pioneer reciver doesn''t know what they''re missing!

Strengths:
Appearance Crossover Sound Quality EVERYTHING

Weaknesses:
The face plate is a little hard to attach and reattach, but you''ll get used to it with a little practice.

Review 4 of 6

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Custom Auto Sound

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001 Pioneer P730

Summary:
I did a little research on many different head units. I found that Pioneer was the way to go. They had all the features that some decks double the price did not have. I chose the p730 over the p900 because they bassicaly seem to offer the same things. The p900 looks nicer and is more expensive. Before I installed it I was listening to Acura''s OEM stereo. Once I got the head unit on I was amazed how drastically it efffected the performance of the stock speakers. I recently purchased the XM radio for the deck. That is also very very cool.

Strengths:
LCD Screen, Subwoofer Control, Great Equalizer Options, XM ready.... I like everything

Weaknesses:
Um.... well when you are listening to XM the artist name only reads out to 8 characters so "Grandmaster Flash" comes on the screen with "Grandmas"

Review 5 of 6

Price Paid:  $260.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 DEH-P730 XM Ready

Summary:
I had a JVC Kamelon hooked up to MB Quart speakers with a Alpine amp running the 6x9. Replaced it with this Pioneer Premier and it blows the JVC out of the water. Hands down one of the best head units for the money.

Strengths:
Vast control over the sound. Looks great. Excellent radio reception. More options than you will ever need.

Weaknesses:
If I had to pick a weakness I would say the placement of the eject button. It is more of getting used to it than a weakness though.
