The Comptech Air Intake was designed to replace your stock intake, to allow your engine to "breathe more freely", thus freeing up more horsepower. Strengths:
Nice polish on the aluminum. Easy install. Nice sound in VTEC. Weaknesses:
The rubber grommet on mine deteriorated. I would NOT buy this product because of this. I seen the AEM CAI and short ram on other cars and think that it's construction is much better.
