Project Overview:
It seems like everyone is setting out to make their car perform better. The aftermarket is booming and there's plenty of cars to choose from to begin your quest for the ultimate driving experience. We've decided to show you exactly what's involved with modifying a vehicle for performance. We chose 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse for our first project. This car is a great candidate for a few reasons. For one, it's used. Used cars are modified more often than new cars due to the initial vehicle cost, warranty restrictions, and availablity of aftermarket parts. Secondly, the factory options on this car include AWD(all-wheel-drive) and a turbocharged, 195hp 4 cylinder engine.
