2008 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 - Overview

One of the quickest front-wheel-drive vehicles in the U.S., the MAZDASPEED3 shares the same engine as the MAZDASPEED6 and CX-7, with 0 to 60 mph time under 6 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. The car has lots of power and even more torque, great handling, superb brakes, a tight six-speed gearbox with tasty short throws, good ride and comfort levels, and for a front-wheel-drive hatchback, accelerates and corners better than anything in its class.

2.3-liter, I4, 263-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard.
