Price Paid:  $325.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 VRX630

Summary:
Simple Clarion 6.5" semi-motorized (comes out motrized like, then you have to manualy flip up the screen, can go in pretty much any slant angle) Ce-net, able to input A/V w/ optional CCA cable $45 more or less unfournately. Bright screen, does not play cd's although can be hooked up to 6-disc cd changer or etc via CE-NET. When play dvds on ps2 it fills full screen, when play games on ps2 it almost fills full screen. Not the BEST image, but its not the highest model either. Retails at $700 04' clarion pro audio series. I felt like posting this review cause there are no others. Someone mentioned it distorts when bass hits, I have played bass extremely loud and have had little to no distortion. Unit is somewhat heavy, has a fan on the box, does take alot of power but its a good screen, it does not look like a TV from the face plate, detachable. It somewhat sticks out.

Strengths:
Good Clear picture, Semi-motorized, works with all clarion remotes(like all clarions) Low Profile, pretty quite. Very good for the value that "I" paid

Weaknesses:
Not the greatest images, somewhat low sound qualitly, and little sound enhancer features, has the same features as a non- proaudio clarion HU. Does not play any CD's or whatever, only semi-motorized

Similar Products Used:
I have not used any other car LCD screens, but all clarion products I have used, about 7 HU's have all been very qualitily, not the greatests HUs if you are only running a HU. IE: good when install with equalizers etc.
