The 2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in one trim only, the HEV. The Altima Hybrid has a VAR Speed Automatic transmission, 2.5-liter I4, 158-horsepower hybrid engine, and offers all the style, convenience, and technology features as the gasoline version but with benefits of enhanced fuel economy and reduced emissions. After making its debut for the 2007 model year, the 2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid receives standard splash guards, Diversity Antenna and an optional factory-activated XM Satellite Radio.
