Summary:
I found the Thule canoe carrier to be an excellent product. I've used it for about two years and have never had a problem with it. It's easy to use and keeps the canoe from shifting at any speed you want to drive.

Strengths:
Works great. Easy to use. Built strong. The rubber protectors over the metal buckels on the straps protect your canoe.

Weaknesses:
None.

Similar Products Used:
I've tried the foam pads on the canoe and ropes across the canoe but they don't work near as well as the straps and the cross bars on the Thule canoe carrier.
