Strengths:
AWD, Auto Transmission, handling, MPG in gas is great, ride and just fun fun fun to drive

Weaknesses:
Can't realy think of any

Review 2 of 62

Price Paid:  $42500.00 from Brogan Caddy, NJ

Year / Model Reviewed:
2008 CTS4

Summary:
This car is truly amazing. I love everything about it. I have the CTS4 with performance package,AWD 18 whls. performance brakes. The car almost makes you feel guilty with the luxury level. I did my homework and compared it to many vehicles, for the money there was no comparison..sorry. I also spoke to a Cadillac Master Mechanic I know. He told me the car was solid and he has seen nothing like it in his 20 years as a Cadillac mechanic. I know it may be to soon to tell, but so far better than good. If that changes I will be back, some how I doubt I will. At least with any complaints, I hope.

Strengths:
Luxury level, ride & handling. Seems to be living up to the Car of the year status.

Weaknesses:
None I can find at this time, even when trying to find something wrong, I can't.

Review 3 of 62

Price Paid:  $58000.00 from ontairo dealership

Year / Model Reviewed:
2008 cts 4

Summary:
Better than my 2003 CTS, better than my 2006 CTS but only because of the direct injection and all wheel drive

Strengths:
Looks and sound system, electric tilt and telescoping steering

Weaknesses:
Storage space, lots of no credit options as you navigate through the packages to build the car you want, lost track of the number of painted and polished rims that were deleted as I optioned out the car. Personalization is much less than past Cadillac’s and Auroras. Poor quality paint which is disappearing from the leading edge of the rear wheel wells,

Similar Products Used:

2003 CTS, 2006 CTS second vehicle is 2002 S10 which I love

Review 4 of 62

Price Paid:  $3600000.00 from Valley Chevrolet

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Cadillac CTS

Summary:
I am convinved CTS stands for Cheap TS. Everything (except body styling) screams cheap. From the flimsy bumpers to the chunky center console. The doors feel thin as cardboard, the "premium" Bose sound system is marginal at best. Air bag covers near back window deck are falling off. I can go on about the cheapness forever but theres other problems. Two weeks off the lot, Coolant Level Low appeared on DIC. Filled it up, a week later, the same. Took to shop, had to replace exhaust manifold gasket. 60 days later, Engine light lit on dash. Appointment is in two days (thank goodness for bumper to bumper warranty).
I DO have some posative points. Nice firm ride, sporty suspension, incredibly attractive body styling.
Owned an STS before this, had major problems, CTS looks like another apple from the same tree.
It's no wonder American car mfgr's are laying off workers by the tens of thousands and closing plants. No wonder Japanese anf German auto makers are killing American makers. America's corporate greed dictates make the package pretty, skimp on whatever is behind the shiny paint and under the hood then charge as much as possible for it. My next car will undoubtedly be a Lexus or Mercedes.

Strengths:
Styling.

Weaknesses:
Cheap interior, Unreliable & undependable.

Price Paid:  $38000.00 from Gold Coast Cadillac,

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Cadillac CTS

Summary:
Very unhappy with the car. The engine (according to the dealer) on my 2006 Cadillac CTS makes a continual whining noise when accelerating or at a steady speed above 35 MPH, that the dealer says is normal. Previously, the dealer told me it was my Differential and replaced it.

Strengths:
Styling

Weaknesses:
Engine and other noises

GM car driver for over 30 years
