Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $36000.00 from Classic Audi

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Audi TT coupe 180 HP

Summary:
This car is just awsome! It definitely drives like a German car. A nearly four year-old production model that definitely turns heads; it's all about style and design. The interior is indeed one of the best among sport cars these days. Brakes are incredible! I drive an average of 70 miles/day always in a hurry, and this car's power, speed, and responsiveness is just great. Of course it's not faster than a Corvette or a Boxster, but I am not planning on racing (especially on daily traffic...). This much style (hate-or-love it kind of style though)and the solid Audi reputation for this price is a very good deal.

Strengths:
Style/looks Confort Brakes Handling Responsiveness

Weaknesses:
When upgrading to a 6-disc CD changer, the radio on the console is not changed, and one ends up with an additional CD on-dash, which is somewhat convenient, but a bit annoying. Attracts too much attention at times

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $39160.00 from VW

Summary:
Basically this car is visually stunning ive only had it for a few days so far and its great. the 225hp engine does dissapoint a bit so i may have to try the v6 out when the lease is up. the handling characteristics of this car are so neutral and predictable it gives anyone the confidence to drive quickly in any weather conditions. it rained today and it was the first time i had been able to drive it in the rain, and once the esp is off a whole new side of the car shows itself. this car is untouchable in nasty weather

Strengths:
looks, brakes are good, handles well, quattro, and it looks good :D, oh did i mention it looks good

Weaknesses:
even with more power its still too heavy to be considered fast, rear visibility is limited but if you adjust the mirrors properly its not bad, hard to keep clean

Similar Products Used:
99 TT this was an early preproduction model, and it is easy to tell that audi has been putting a lot into improving the vehicle. the engine bay has been left out though. the six will help, but even 25
