Review 1 of 19

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 Cayenne S

Summary:
The Cayenne has been the best car I have driven to date. It has more than enough power to satisfy most SUV drivers, great agility, and isn't as commonplace as all of the other SUV's on the road.

Strengths:
It is the complete package, on road performance, off road capabilities, and more than enough bells and whistles to keep you occupied.

Weaknesses:
14-18 gas milage isn't too much fun, rearward visability could be inproved, and of course the pricetag...

Caddilac Escalade, Lexus RX 330

Review 2 of 19

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Carousel Porsche

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 Porsche Cayenne S

Summary:
SWEET!! Okay, I kind of expected the handling aspects of this vehicle as it is a Porsche. After driving for a couple of weeks and 1000 miles it continues to amaze me. Fast, Quiet (very quiet), tight suspension (yet it mutes rough rodes), no body roll, tracks like it is on rails. Just darn fun to drive. Now I look for reasons to go out and I always take the long way. This is a luxury SUV it has features that many so called luxury cars do not have. The electronics on this vehicle are a very sophisticated and wonder to behold. The seats are the most comfortable I have sat in. Driving for long periods is very enjoyable and non-fatiguing. The sound system is awesome. The other SUV's I list below are not even in the same zipcode as this vehicle. Being an SUV owner since 85 I can really appreciate this vehicle. It looks better in person then in pictures. I have no off road experience with this vehicle, but then who will take a $60K + vehicle off road. Rides 5 (people) quite comfortably and still has room in back for your gear. Porsche hit a home run with this vehicle!

Strengths:
The ride, simply amazing (Quiet, tight, smooth, fast, corners as if on a rail) Luxury you would never expect this level of opulence from a Porsche much less any other SUV on the market.

Weaknesses:
Could have better sight lines out of rear window, Back seats could go totally flat like ML. Gas milage is very similar to my ML 500 and 430.

Review 3 of 19

Price Paid:  $0.00 from dave strong porsche

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 cayenne turbo

Summary:
This is a great car. The ride is great and the motor...oh! the motor!!!! this car raises the bar on the rest of the sport utility market. Mercedes and BMW make great stuff but this car is of a different breed. All of that said, I have had some problems though. See below.

Strengths:
Motor is incredible. interior is ver comfortable and well appointed. The stereo is great. I am amazed that they could make a car this heavy handle as well as it does. Did I mention the motor?

Weaknesses:
Consumes gas and tires with enormous apetite. I am on my third set of tires in 11,000 miles. The Sat Nav system has gone out twice. The driver control center has gone out once. Questionable exterior styling. Be very careful in the snow even with snow tires!

Review 4 of 19

Price Paid:  $58000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 Porsche Cayenne S

Summary:
This is a very impressive SUV in terms of handling, acceleration and comfort. The drive has been outstanding. This car is extremely nimble despite its weight. The navigations system is easy to use and the instructions are very clear.

Strengths:
Power, comfort, high quality of materials used. Tiptronice responds quickly.

Weaknesses:
Fuel consumption (but not outrageous given the amount of power) Back seats very firm, leg room in the back somewhat limited for tall passengers.

None

Review 5 of 19

Price Paid:  $60000.00 from Hoehn Porsche

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 cayenne

Summary:
It's the only car you will never have to wash. Why? I have owned mine for a couple of months and it has been in for repair 18 times. Fortunately, the dealer offers complimentary wash with each service. My car is spotless. Unfortunately, everything on the car has failed and/or been replaced. Great to drive -- worst trouble I have ever seen in any car. Wishing I bought the BMW!!

Strengths:
Great handling!

Weaknesses:
Nothing works.

MBW and Mercedes
