Price Paid:  $250.00 from Circuit City

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 MTX Thunder342

Summary:
This a great amp for starters or people just looking to add a little bass to you car audio system. This amp doesn't get you ear aching bass, but it isn't bad running at 340 watts RMS at 4 ohms. I had this powering 2 10' MTX Roadthunders and it sounded great. After about 6 months one channel broke so i was stuck with only one channel. :( Upgraded to a Fosgate 501bd and an Infinity Perfect 12.1 sub.

Strengths:
-good for a starter -looks good

Weaknesses:
-bad heat distribution (shuts off after about 3 hours of running running pretty loud) -to pricey
