Strengths:
Sounds great and has the plain look, for people who steal them looks great in the night has the sub out put for a small sub, so the radio is powerfull.

Weaknesses:
When cd ends cant push the skip button so if you wnat to hear it again have to go all the way back.

Review 3 of 11

Price Paid:  $200.00 from from a friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
 CDX-C6750

Summary:
biggest piece of crap. the buttons stick when the climate changes. skips all the time just when driving around, not even hitting any bumps. won't read some cd's. if a cd has a piece of dust on it, it won't read it. no aux inputs of any kind, so i can't even plug in my $400 Nomad3 20gb mp3 player i just bought. if i'm wrong, then someone e-mail me (xp3rt@kc.rr.com) and tell me how. just... it's the biggest piece of crap ever, don't buy it.

Strengths:
made my factory speakers sound better.

Weaknesses:
an absolutely worthless piece of junk. it makes noise... sometimes.

Review 4 of 11

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Hifi Buys

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Sony CDX-C6750

Summary:
Overall an excellent HU. Part of the line of HU''s before Sony went nuts and made everything RED. A great buy with room for system expansion. 2 sets of F/R pre-outs, NF subwoofer pre-out. MD/CD Changer Control, Custom Text File, D-Bass Controls.

Strengths:
Easy to use, simple layout and design. Good build quality for a Sony. Switchable Amber/Green Display. Clock is Large and Readable. Great Sound Quality for the Price. Controls are user-friendly. Contrary to other reviews, my unit does not skip.

Weaknesses:
Not visually impressive, could use EQ pre-outs from Mobile ES line.

Similar Products Used:
Sony CDX-5000X, Sony CDX-680 Mobile ES

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $50.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 cdx-c6750

Summary:
Bought it open box from Best Buy for $50. Had to buy the harness from Sony for another $30, but I'm faily pleased with the product.

Don't listen to everyone that says it skips. I drive over some very potholed roads daily and it has yet to skip. Just make sure it's installed securely.

Good for $50 but for the retail price, look elsewhere.

Regards.

Strengths:
Doesn't skip, good clean power.

Weaknesses:
Not a huge fan of the track up/down lever. Display is a little small compared to my last one (Blaupunkt Houston).
Face is a little tough to get on.

Similar Products Used:
Blaupunkt Houston- a little cheaper, but pretty much the same.
