from Orange Coast Chrysle Year / Model Reviewed: 2006 Base A/t Wagon Summary: A very good car for the price I paid. I have the base model with auto-trans, A/C, keyless entry, CD stereo (with Sirius satellite radio). Not powerful, but smoooth riding and pretty quiet. I needed a second car because I have 2 sons and my Miata only carries 2 people. From what I have read, the long term quality of the PT Cruiser is pretty good, so I expect to hold onto it for a number of years. Strengths: Good visibility and headroom (I'm 6" 2'). The styling is still cool. Not as boring as the Altima that I replaced. Excellent value. Weaknesses: Pretty poor gas mileage (about 20-22 mpg). A bit underpowered. Could use a 5 or 6 speed auto trans. Similar Products Used: Jeep Liberty (also excellent and highly recommended!)
