The 2009 Canyon Regular Cab 2WD is a 2-door, 3-passenger compact pickup, available in two trims, the Work Truck and the SLE-1.
Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 2.9-liter, I4, 185-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
The 2009 Canyon Regular Cab 2WD is a carryover from 2008.
