Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $80.00

Summary:
It is sent off to be repaired more often than it is in my car so I am very disapointed with the product.

Strengths:
When working it has great bass for the money.

Weaknesses:
It has had to be sent to repair 3 times and also when bridged it gets to hot and shuts off often.

Similar Products Used:
not very reliable compared to other amps.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $100.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 '99 428s

Summary:
For rated at only 200 watts peak in mono, this amp has some boom! It was my first amp to power my Fosgate DVC 12. Of course, it didn't do the sub justice, but surprised me! Very clean power from this little thumper. I got compliments all the time on how clean it sounded. When I got a little more money I decided to go with the KAC728s because it's still cheap, and I'm happy with Kenwood amps. For the price, this amp is WELL worth it if all you need is some more power for 2 speakers or you want to run a decent 10 for pretty good bass.

Strengths:
Lots of bang for the buck. Very clean power. Space saver, it's small.

Weaknesses:
For what it is, and what I paid for it, no weaknesses.

Similar Products Used:
Kenwood KAC728s, of course, this amp pushes a whole lot more power, but it's not as clean as the 428s.
