Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $110.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Cobra ESD-6700

Summary:
I purchased the ESD-6700 because I really needed a good radar detector, yet I couldn't afford a Valentine 1. The ESD-6700 is a decent mid-range detector, I can reccomend it to anyone looking in the sub $200.00 radar detector range.

Strengths:
Low falsing, dual laser detectors, full-circle laser detection, good K and X band detection

Weaknesses:
weaker Ka band detection.

Similar Products Used:
Whistler 3300, Bel 975

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $50.00 from ebay.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 cobra 6700

Summary:
Less annoying than I feared it might be with the voice alert...not many false alarms and moderate detection capabilities. Just treat it as an extra pair of eyes and not as something which will provide invulnerability from speed traps.

Strengths:
X, K radar. Can detect "K" radar from about 1/4 mile away.

Weaknesses:
Pulsed radar, KA radar, over the hill radar traps.

Similar Products Used:
Cobra ESD 6500 (same excepting 6500 does not talk).
