i think i made a good decison, i was driving down ford road at 160 and the cobra started picking up a signal and i slowed down and did not get caught.

Unit picks up radar great.

Strengths:
Picks up radar well within line of sight

Weaknesses:
other radar detectors set it off, cell phone sets it off (X band, most cops use K or Ka band radar, dont have much for laser or lidar in montana yet)

Summary:
Works great with K and X band radar. The only thing it lacks is good laser protection. I drove by a couple cops with lasers and it doesn't detect it. I also just got pulled over yesterday with a lasergun. Don't waste ur money on outdated technology. Go with a expensive unit with good laser protection.

K, and X Band Radar is Great.

Weaknesses:
Laser protection sucks!
