Review 1 of 11

Price Paid:  $100.00

Summary:
I have had these bad-asses for almost 3 years now and they still pound like the day I got them. I am actually about to buy another pair for my front. Highly recomend buying these speakers at any price. The bass is amazing for 6x9's.

Strengths:
Greay Bass, STRONG design, awesome range of sound. C

Weaknesses:
Need to amp them to get total justification out of them, but work fine without one.

Review 2 of 11

Price Paid:  $120.00

Summary:
I've had 140 watts pushing these speakers for the past year and a half in my bonneville and they sound just as good now as they did the day I bought them. probably the best buy I have ever made in car audio

Strengths:
excellent clarity, brilliant high frequency extension

Weaknesses:
not the best low frequency extension

Similar Products Used:
compares favorably over every other 6x9 I've ever heard

Review 3 of 11

Price Paid:  $130.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000

Summary:
These speakers are nice to put it lightly. They sound great. I especially love the mid and highs. The compression horn tweeters do their job. I have them in back so they kind of just fill out the sound more. The infinity kappa components i have in front drown them out a bit but that's to be expected when they are rear deck speakers. Midbass is weak sometimes. I don't use it for bass at all though because I use kicker subs for my bass.

Strengths:
sounds good, nice mids and highs, price is good

Weaknesses:
midbass distorts sometimes at low pitches(i can't tell any more though because of my subwoofers)

Similar Products Used:
Jenson- oh my these just suck compared to em, pioneer 2 way(no compression horn)- needed a bass blocker for these. They sucked too

Review 4 of 11

Price Paid:  $93.00

Summary:
Great speakers. It seems that the horn on the speakers would do a little better if the speakers were indeed pointed at the back window. But in my car (Olds Calais) the speakers are aimed at the ceiling. But anyways the idea is to have the treble bounce off of the back window. They still sound great though. Even with your factory stereo. With an aftermarket head unit it sounds better. And I've yet to try it with an amp, but im guessing that they probably sound even better with an amp. I've yet to distort the bass. the bass sometimes overpowers the treble, but that can be adjusted via the head unit.

Strengths:
Bass, power handling

Weaknesses:
None yet.

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $99.00

Summary:
WOW. I stuck these in boxes, and they hit hard. Every base note comes with a POW.

Strengths:
Make good sound. Base notes are defined. (Stick them in boxes though)

Weaknesses:
Since they're in the back, trebble and mid loses volume, so it sounds like the bass is drowning it out. But i hav ea pre-amp, so its all good
