Review 3 of 19

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I''ve got an older pair of kappas in my car, about 1000 hours on em. they''re hooked up to a class D amp putting out 100 watts RMS with 0.005% distortion (not a fake figure, the amp cost 500$) i dont think very many people have experienced pure, undistorted sound at such a volume level that is present in the set up i have. go out and get a class D or vacuum tube amp, then you''ll know the true capability of these speakers.

Strengths:
big magnet structure which is protected from moisture by a rubber cover. quality drivers

Weaknesses:
you need to crank some serious power (cd decks just wont do it, even 50x4) to light em up proper.

Similar Products Used:
Bose, mb quart, pioneer, jensen, jl audio, rockford fosgate, home theater speakers rigged up to car deck

Review 4 of 19

Price Paid:  $100.00

Summary:
Very pleased with my purchase, the highs are crystal clear the lows can hit very well, I'm only running 22 watts rms (from my tuner) right now and they sound great. can't wait to hear them with an extra 40 watts added to em. I listen to a wide variety of music and they've sounded good on all accounts. Infinity can do no wrong by me.

Strengths:
Great Sound, high quality, nice amount of wattage handling for 6x9's

Weaknesses:
does distort if turned up to earplug needed level, but that just might be because I don't have enough wattage going to them yet.

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer 6x9's, I think delco makes some better than pioneer.

Review 5 of 19

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Civic 2001

Summary:
I don't understand why so many positive reviews have been posted on this products. It is as terrible as it could gets. May be I got the refurbished ones, but it didn't say so. The speakers distorted badly, even I put my amp gains to minimum. The treble is good, but not to sound quality. It is loud and the hisses hurts ears. The bass doesn't kick anything. I powered it with MTX RT4240, the 692.1l and the 62.1i I have in front just distorted badly and after 2months it finally quits. The sound is no longer audible, but the tweeter still loud. Still hurts your ears. Far from clean and crisp sound. It is good if you want to show off on the street, but terrible if you're looking for sound enjoyment inside the car.

Strengths:
Its ability to "fool" others that quickly become satisfied with it.

Weaknesses:
Distorted sound, distorted bass, distorted treble. Hurts ears, and made in Taiwan! The woofers are flaky and the so-called glass-tweeters are only marketing sttgy. No hope .

Similar Products Used:
JBL TL900 and TM930. Not the best, but still better. Made in the hands of USA.
