Review 1 of 14

Price Paid:  $99.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001 6 1/2

Summary:
i bought these speakers beacause i bought a new car and the old polk ex dindt fit . i chose these speakers because of their reviews . when i got them installed i was very disapointed , the polks withought an amp sounded 10 times better than the infinity kappas with a 75 watt per channel . to be honest the factory speakers are more clear and precise . unless you dont care what your music sounds like or you can afford to waste money then dont buy these .there are better speakers out there for the money

Strengths:
none

Weaknesses:
distorted sound at mid volume to high volume , not as loud as polk ex and more expensive

Similar Products Used:
polk ex , polk dx , kicker impulse

Review 2 of 14

Price Paid:  $69.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
I spent many hours in researching these speakers before I bought em. I wanted to match both from front and rears so I took my time in researching. I did everything from on-line company research to in-store comparisions. In the end the combination of good research and an even better price brought me to the Kappa Series by Infinity. There is no store display or sound room in the world that can duplicate the interior of a car so I was extremely nervous to say the least when my install was complete. Upon powering these babies up I was pleasently surprised. I actually I fell in love with these speakers. The highs are really really crisp, almost to the point of being a little too loud. An in stereo EQ or an add on EQ is almost nessary. It is going to be interesting to see how these speakers sound after their initial break in period. If you can get a good price on em, I highly recomend these speakers.

Strengths:
Nice, crisp highs and tight mid-range. If you can get a good price on em, go for it.

Weaknesses:
Not one i can think of.

Similar Products Used:
Shopped around for 6.5 Pioneers, Polks, MB Quarts, and basically everything else that's made in the size .

Review 3 of 14

Summary:
i would recommend these speakers at any cost, thats how good they are

Strengths:
Crystal clear highs, and supurb mids. These speakers suprised me because they throw out alot of bass. You deffinitely have to have an amp, because these sound better and better when you give them more power, i could deffinitely tell a great difference between throwing 30 watts, and 100 watts at the infinitys. Also, get new aftermarket wires you will be much happier with monster cable than you will with factory wires.

Weaknesses:
i really like these speakers

Similar Products Used:
they blow away the so called premium system in my thunderbird

Review 4 of 14

Summary:
I would definatly recomend these speakers to any one. I have had them in two different cars and they sounded great in both. I am running them off an amp, and I believe only the best performance is obtained by doing this; they need ample power to run properly. I also have them running through a x-over, and the ability to adjust the sound they receive also makes for an exceptional bonus. Great Speakers.....

Strengths:
Great accuracy. Run excellent through and amp and x-over. Clarity of sound.

Weaknesses:
I have had no problems in the 4 yrs. I have been using my Kappa's.

Review 5 of 14

Summary:
These are, overall, very nice sounding speakers that handle a lot of power. However, they absolutely MUST be powered by an external amp. The only flaw I notices was slightly biting, harsh highs at high volumes. I would recommend them overall, especially since they're quite common and can be picked up cheap on e-bay. Good for a middle-of-the-road system.

Strengths:
Overall great sound, cool looking green

Weaknesses:
Slightly biting highs, need an amp
