Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $150.00 from Custom AUdio

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002 Boston Acoustic NX5

Summary:
So far these speakers have added a great rounding out to the sound quality of my system. The midbass of these speakers is what i was looking for and the highs continue to sing bright. Althought the 5.25's are in the low back doors of a 2002 Subaru they continue to sound great even at high levels. I do have an amp running them and I am very happy with their performance.

Strengths:
Midbass, clear tweeter...the best coaxial i have found for the money!

Weaknesses:
I would have liked to see a little more snap to the midbass

Similar Products Used:
MTX 6000 5.25" and uh yeah stock

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $149.00 from Hi-Fi buys

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
These are some of the best sounding speakers I have ever heard. The build quality when compared to similarly priced models is mind boggleing.

Strengths:
rubber surrouds give a natural sound that ois smooth. Tweeteris perfectly matched to the come.

Weaknesses:
they have a deep mounting depth, but thats because of the magnet size.

Similar Products Used:
kenwood, clarion , and pioneer

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $173.00

Summary:
My experience has been bad and good. The good part is i got them for a Bat mitzvah gift when i turned 13, the bad part is i used them and shorted out my head unit and started a fire.

Strengths:
They tear real nice and easy

Weaknesses:
The price, nice and cheap, like the quality

Similar Products Used:
My best speakers by Far come from Ames, Urban Audio's.

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $140.00

Summary:
When i first got these they sounded great without an amp. After a few weeks i got an amp for them and they sound much better. These speakers make you blink and your ears ring. You can hear every insrument as if the band was in your car.

Strengths:
these are the clearest and loudest 5.25 speakers i have heard. They sound even great with just the head unit and no external amp.

Weaknesses:
i recommend an amp to get the most out of them

Similar Products Used:
pioneer 5.25 and eclipse 5.25. The RX57's have the best sound compared to those
