Price Paid:  $90.00

Summary:
I bought a pair of these to replace the stock 6x9's in my rear deck. I was amazed at how much better they sounded, even without an additional amp. They were clearer and cleaner, and had an immediately apparent greater tonal range than my stock speakers. A few days ago, I hooked them up to an Eclipse EA2122 amp (50W x 2ch @ 4ohms). After driving around, listening to a few different CDs, I quickly realized that, windows up or down, these get loud enough to cause pain after listening for a few minutes with the volume 3/4 of the way up. What's more, I heard no distortion or signal clipping at all.

Strengths:
Extremely clear sound, very good bass response for 6x9's (compared to stock speakers, I felt like I had a sub in my car with these), and they can get VERY loud when driven with enough power (get an 40-60W*2channel amp; you'll be glad you did). The price was good, I got the pair down to $90 and have been very pleased with them ever since.

Weaknesses:
Day to day, I havne't noticed any weaknesses. Of course everyone wants higher wattage, but with 50w driving each channel (out of a possible 70w per), I can't imagine them being much louder. I worry more about amps than I do about these; they can take just about anything.
