Summary:
i just love the way these speakers sound. the highs and mids are so clear. probably the best i have ever heard. i teamed the speakers up with an arc audio 4150 and an audio control hpx. i would definitately suggest these speakers to everyone. with the programmable crossover, it can adjust to ur own liking.

Strengths:
everything

Weaknesses:
none that i know of

Year / Model Reviewed:

Summary:
simply the best sounding car audio speaker out there. I have been useing diamond audio for several years and they seem to just improve every year. They make the best speaker's for the price. If u like the component speakers you should also check out the subwoofers they are just as good. for sub's i have the m6 12d4's and i love them good clean bass.

Strengths:
everything!!!!

Weaknesses:
i think the only weakness is the avalibility but if ur reading this u r headed in the right direction.

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I love my 4" componets, I also have the 6.5" componets and they are simply awesome also. I have compared them to Boston Acoustics and MB Quarts lines and the Diamond come in on top. I like the sound quality of the speakers. The tweeters in this set are just amazing.

Strengths:
Good loud clean midbass, can play low and sound great. The tweeters are awesome too.

Weaknesses:
I have the older model so the magnets are huge hard to mount.

Review 4 of 4

Summary:
$399

Strengths:
Best off axis response of any 4 incher I have heard. The further away the better. Ideal use in kick panels and lower doors. Choice of Aluminium (400a) or Silk (400s) dome tweeter's with the (a) tweet a bit brighter, for off axis installs and the smooth sounding (s) better for closer locations like upper doors and pillars. Build quality is by far the best in it's price range. These things play so flat from 400k to 16kh you really don't need an EQ. If you take advantage of this speakers excellent off axis design, you will be rewarded with a sound stage image that is deep spacious and lushesly accurate.

Weaknesses:
The speaker basket is overbuilt (slightly larger then most 4s) and may take a little longer to install.

Similar Products Used:
MB Quart,Polk,Image Dynamics,Boston. All very good products but we're talkin (4s) here. Closes competition the much pricer Focal, I might even give them the edge in sound quality, but price is a big factor.
