Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Not bad so far, started out with a lower model Pioneer speaker and proceeded to blow it in 3 weeks. Naturally I didn't want another Pioneer but when listening to 4 different models in the same price range I HAD to go with theese. Not bad at all! Good bass, no severe distortion at max level on a 50 W per channel amp. Good for rock but not for Whomp-whomp music

Strengths:
nice'n bassy good price

Weaknesses:
none so far

Similar Products Used:
the lower Pioneers, pyramid, JBL

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $80.00 from best buy

Summary:
I bought these things at best buy for $80(later found out that the fucckers went on sale for $50 bucks the next week) well shiot happens. Anyway i heard good and bad reviews about this product. Some people love it and some people say that it doesn't give any bass and is disorted. Well i bought them and let me tell ya, these fucckers are the bang for the buck. For one thing these bastarrds have very high highs. The sound clarity is crisp and clean. There was only one problem when installed them. There was no bass. I thought the reviews i read on the internet were right about them not having the bass. I then found out that my H-bass (super bass on some cd players) on my cd player was turned way down. Well i turned it up, and presto, the fucckers pounded. Keep in mind that i didn't amp them up either. i'm only pushing 45 watts in them. I bet they can get pretty loud amped up. Well overall these are incredible speakers to get for the price. though, i don't know what the hell best buy is doing. They are putting almost all of their pioneer products on clearance (6x9's anyway). So try and get the 260 watt versions if you can. please excuse my french, i just like swearing.

Strengths:
high highs, crisp and clear, good bass

Weaknesses:
nothing, but make sure you don't turn up the bass too high on 6x9's. isn't good for them. that's why im getting subs

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I'm in my truck for about an hour and a half a day, and my speakers were irritating the crap out of me. Originally I was going to buy some Kenwood speakers, but I went to Best Buy just to make sure I liked them. Turns out, I found these for about the same price and liked them way better. I drive an '85 Chevy S-10 pickup, so it sounds really good since the enclosed space is so small. These speakers are exactly what I wanted in a pair of speakers... Clean, High Highs and Low Lows. The sound in these speakers are extremely clean, I was surprised for the price. These are a steal. In my opinion, they're perfect for any truck owners. Not to mention, they pack a punch. Put a whole new life into my crappy CD receiveer. If you don't believe me, go to any store that carries them and compare them to any higher priced model. They're just that good. But then again, to each his own, what may sound awesome to me may not sound so awesome to the next person.

Strengths:
Awesome, clean, powerful sound, sounds great with all styles of music. Easy to install. The price is a steal. Brought new life to my truck. Blew all the other speakers I heard to smithereens.

Weaknesses:
Let me think...
