Summary: My dad was looking to buy a 350Z, I read some of the reviews, I saw some good and bad ones. I think he still might buy one though. Do you think, if he gets one, it would be ok to drive in rain, sleet, or snow, if he got new tires and put sandbags in the trunk, because he would obviously use it year round.
Strengths: anything
Weaknesses: everything

Summary: Outside is the bomb. The design is aggressive and very easy on the eyes. Inside is the bomb. New and improved goodies make the run more enjoyable.
Strengths: New Magnetic Black paint, new 18" wheels, body style, factory UV tinted glass, exhaust note, 6-speed shifter, brakes, clutch, mp3 player, g-force (okay..I got it), fit-and-finish, no squeaks (yet), leg room, gauges, bang/buck factor.
Weaknesses: BOSE stereo is not ready for prime time. Too much bass and not enough mid-range/lows. Have to tweak the settings again and again. But who cares when you want to hear the engine/exhaust note anyways!

Summary: I bought this car a yr old and saved a good bit off its new price. I expected the car to be good but had some hesitations due to reading mixed reviews. Bottom line the car is a monster. It is incredible and I love it. I had a Honda Accord before getting this car and after a week of driving this car around I got into my Honda for a quick trip and was shocked about how numb it felt on the road. I put my Honda for sale on craigslist the next day.
This car is great value too. I am amazed at what I get for 26K.
Strengths: Here is the good:
-car looks awesome
-good power
-good interior quality and design
-engine sounds powerful
-crazy slick suspension
-tight control
-rims look awesome
-the attention this car gets
-value
-the trunk is surprisingly useful considering how much complaining you see in the reviews
Weaknesses: the bad:
-OEM tires are Summer tires only (I just replaced mine for $1K w/ All Seasons, even though they had lots of miles left)
-car is really loud, louder than you might imagine, but it's a sports car

Summary: this is my first real sports car and im only 20 years old (mom and dad did not buy this car for me) and i must say, working 10 hour days 5 days a week feels good when your ripping up the highway. turning off the tcs control on a summer day and ripping through the gears with the tiptronic tranny feels quite responsive and the steering is as accurate as can be. really isnt too bad in the rain either so thats a good thing. i may not have a back seat but who cares because driving something like this is reserved for you and your suggificant other (or picking up ladies) mine is in daytona blue so the color absolutely pops when you look at it.
Strengths: fast and responsive throttle to match the precise steering and balance. and not to shabby on gas
Weaknesses: lack of space, reletively poor rear visability

Summary: Having owned two BMW's previously, the 330 ragtop, and then the M3 ragtop, I decided that I was in the market for something new. Having looked at the other convertibles in the same class that were on the market (Saab, Volvo, Benz 200 series, BMW 6, etc...) I came across a Nissan dealer where I thought I'd have a look.Seeing the 350Z on the street previously, I was impressed with the agressive styling and sleek "low to the ground" looks. Once having discovered that the 350Z sits on pretty much the same chassis as the Infinity G35, the test drive sold me on the 350Z convertible roadster. The power is similar (300 HP) to the BMW M3, you get a whole lot more for your money as far as sound system, interior, exterior (18 wheels standard)and the driving feel is the same. I dont care what any BMW enthusiast will tell you, I owned two over 6 years, and although they are beautiful cars, the Japanese are proving they are no fools when coming to the table with car design.
Strengths: Price, definitely. 20-30 grand less than an M3, and will give them a run for their money on a straightaway, or curve.
Engine power, sound system (plays anything, MP3, etc) appointments (both interior and exterior) styling. Road handling is excellent- 18" tires standard. Softtop retracts in 30 seconds.
Weaknesses: 350 Z Roadster has virtually no storage capacity,so don't buy one if you plan on hauling cargo of any type. One set of golf clubs in the trunk, maybe. A medium size suitcase, forget it. No room behind the seats, either.
Cup holders not overly accessible or functional. But who cares, if you are drinking coffee while driving a car like this, are you really DRIVING it?
