from Walmart Summary: I wouldn't recommend this sub to anybody. It says that it can handle 525 watts peak--I really doubt that. I used one channel of a Mobile Authority amp, 250 watts continuous, and it blew the sub to pieces in a week. And, no, I wasn't pushing the amp to distortion or anything like that...I ran it at a moderate level and the sub just couldn't deal.
The sound quality on these just isn't top-notch either, although the box is pretty well matched for the sub, I'll admit. It can put out enough bass to shake things, but it doesn't really sound all that great.
I guess, however, if you're short on cash and looking for an entry-level product, then this would be your kinda thing. However, you'll probably blow it up too and realize that you wasted $80 that could have been put towards a quality product. Strengths: Box is decently matched to the sub, it's a cheap entry-level product that you can throw in the back of your car and mess around with. Weaknesses: Overrated power handling, poor sound quality Similar Products Used: JL, Mobile Authority, Audiobahn, RF, Kenwood, Pioneer
