Review 4 of 112

Price Paid:  $100.00 from Car Stereo One

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 T8124

Summary:
These subs are great. I read the reviews and I see a lot of people saying bad things about these subs. They say they install them correctly and they still dont sound right I cant believe that. I work at Best Buy and everyday I hear people say theyve install products correctly and its the worst job. I have two of these (MTX 8000 12s) right now running off a Rockford Fosgate 5002 in a 1.75 each sealed box in a Ford Focus and my front windsheild moves a 1/4" no joke. I just bought a third 12 and a MTX 8100D. I cant wait to build a new box. These subs have beat every system is (2) 12s from where I am from. These subs are great for the price you can get them for about $100 a piece actually I only paid $50 for my third one of ebay. Highly recommended.

Strengths:
Great SPL and SQ. Looks good. Priced right.

Weaknesses:
I cant fit six in my trunk

Review 5 of 112

Price Paid:  $95.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 MTX 8000 10"

Summary:
Looking thru these reviews I found one thing. If this speaker rattles, or seems weak or whatever, that person has not installed it correctly. Do your research. Pick the right amp and box. Because if you do, your hair will move when you fire them up. I have 2 MXT 10" w/ MTX 750W amp. These speakers just rock! The bass is SUPER clear. These subs really need a non-ported small box for a nice tight bass that will rock the car next to you. I am a big SQ fan and have 4 Focal 165V. The BAND is right in my car! If these other guys are disappointed then they don't have the right equipment! Come on over to my house, I will prove it. LOL! I truly belive MTX makes a great product, and your not going to pay the big price like some of the others for the same sound.

Strengths:
Cool looks, Awesome SQ and makes my hair move ! (Price nice too)

Weaknesses:
That I can't fit 2 more in the back

Similar Products Used:
Kenwood, Mono, Focal, Kicker
