Price Paid:  $0.00 from Nowhere

Year / Model Reviewed:
 All Subs

Summary:
Well, I SURE HOPE EVERYONE BREAKS OUT THEIR SUBS FOR AT LEAST 6 HOURS ON LITTLE LESS THAN HALF VOLUME.....OTHERWISE IF YOU JUST HOOK ON AN AMP AND BLAST OUT FULL, SAY BYE BYE TO ANY SUB, YES EVEN JUGGERNAUTS,, CUZ I SEEN THEM BLOW WITHOUT BREAKING OUT IN THE 16 HOUR PERIOD....PEOPLE, BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN, BREAK OUT YOUR SUB FOR 6 HOURS(IF YOU DUNNO, THEN PLAY THE SUB ON LIKE QUARTER VOLUME AS LONG AS THE SUB GETS TO BOUNCE A LITTLE, NOT TREMBLE, THEN LEAVE IT PLAYING IN THAT VOLUME AND SOMETIME AFTER 6 HOURS YOU WILL HEAR IT GET LOUDER) AND STOP COMPLAINING BCUZ EVEN MY MTX THUNDER4000 IS SOUNDING DECENT AND IS HANDLING 400WATTS RMS, TWICE THE POWER AND HAS NOT CAUSED ANY TROUBLE YET AND MY CUZIN HAS ONE 15" CERWIN VEGA STROKER WHICH IS 1200WATTS RMS AND HE LET IT BREAK OUT, AND TOOK ABOUT 40 HOURS BEFORE IT STARTED AND NOW HE IS RUNNING 2000WATTS RMS AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.......MY POINT IS ANY SUB CAN PERFORM WELL!

Strengths:
BREAKING OUT MAKES YOUR SUB PERFORM AT THE BEST

Weaknesses:
NONE AS THE SUB GETS IT FULL POTENTIOL

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Prince Int.

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2003

Summary:
When i plugged this beauty with my solid audio 500 watts amp, it blew my ear drums and it sounded very kool.i am not into SPL stuff but i hv a real passion fro bass. so i used this woofer with the solid audio amp for abt 2-3 months.after that i bought a kicker 1200.1 and drove the woofer at 1 ohm load using a 0 gauge wire and a farad capacitor........OMG!!!!the woofer sounded as good as a 12" l5 or l7 ..swear....it really punched enuff bass to blow my and any 1 else's ear drums.......i will stay with this woofer. the bass is so much high or may i saw low that it really buries the vocals...so i will need a good component sys and more 6 by 9s.........buy this woofer!!!!!!

Strengths:
Excellent power handling Very powerful and beats any 12" round or square sub Performs damn good in a vented box

Weaknesses:
I cant hear well.......( i mean in a dance song the bass is so much that it seems that the phase is out)

Similar Products Used:

Review 4 of 8

Price Paid:  $300.00 from BFL audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
 cadence BEAST special DR

Summary:
Subs are simply amasing. At first I was running them with the Ultrashock-a7hc (which is over 1500 watts at 1 ohm) Untill some pussies stole the it... With that amp, I hit 142db's in a Geo Tracker WITH A SOFT TOP. Now, to anyone that knows anything about SPL... You need a tight seal to produce high SPL... We did not have any seal with this top on... IT would be the equevlent of playing a normal car in an spl show with all the windows down and the trunk open. So yea... But even after that amp was stolen, I hooked them up to an itty bitty 200watt jensen amp. And even that (although it cuts out) plays those subs very very well. Excelent buy for ANY PRICE!!!!

Strengths:
can handle 4000 watt burps. Dual 2 ohm voice coils make for tons of instalation posablilities. Can destroy basicly any sub.

Weaknesses:
Cant hear too well... cops have made several theats to give me tickets (even with the jensen amp)

Similar Products Used:
Kicker Solo L5/L5 match up pretty well, however, the BEAST have a much higher frequancy range. Only sub that may be better is the New Wild Beast by cadence...
