Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000 punch rfz1415

Summary:
I originally had a punch 160.2 bridged mono to 2 gs designs redline 15" woofers. in a tiny 81 honda prelude the redlines put out some bass but i blew one of the woofers cones off the foam surround. I bought a single rfz1415 15" woofer and made a box 17" x 17.5" x 17" I had to remove the trunk latch to fit it in(woofer firing backwards). WOW! a 250.00 disturbing the peace ticket! lol. My sunroof lifts up about 3/4 of an inch! I have people turning their heads from 4 blocks away. It is also fun to go out and set car alarms off. If you have a small car don't listen to other reviews. If you know what you are doing you can make these pound like mine.

Strengths:
Extremely low bass. The punch 160.2 running in mono pushes this woofer hard. I am very happy with the performance of this woofer. Impresses everyone that hears it.

Weaknesses:
My car is ratteling apart. bass hits so hard on a rainy day water comes into the car from the sunroof lifting due to SPL. Caused me to get a ticket for being too loud. Makes neighbors and traffic around you mad.

Kicker comp 15", GS Designs redline 15", M&M Godfather 15", Pyramid 15" hahaha, Pyle Driver 15", JL audio 15".

Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $150.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1994 Ford Mustang

Summary:
I really didnt like this sub its decent but nothing incredible especially for the price. Image Dynamics hit harder and are cleaner. Hifonics gen subs sound really good and hit really hard but cannot handle a lot of power and are very finicky subs and EXPENSIVE AS CRAP. Especially if you have a really small car you are not going to like these.

Strengths:
none

Weaknesses:
overpriced (even though I got hooked up), your only paying for the name, quiet even running off 300 watts, If you have a small car better find another choice.

Similar Products Used:
Image Dynamics, Hifonics,

Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $270.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000 Rockford Fosgate 10" HX2

Summary:
I wanted to get everyone's attention when i rode by them in a parking lot, not to mention im a bass head, but i wanted somthing that i could crank up and not worry about it breaking up, i had 3 MTX 6000's and i almost blew them with the same amp that is just getting these warmed up, a 1200.1 watt JBL, so i slapped a couple of these bad boys in my trunk and fired it up!!!

Strengths:
very tight acurate bass, very well built sub, huge magnet stucture, doesn't distort at all

Weaknesses:
none so far except having to make the hole bigger on my box to fit the magnets in!!

Similar Products Used:
compared to: MTx 6000, Kicker CompVR, XLC's, Eclipse, JL Audio, it blows em all away

Review 5 of 5

Price Paid:  $150.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1999

Summary:
I had a rockford punch 250 a2 and I was running 2 12" punch's with it which pounded hard but I wasn't getting the lows that I wanted so I bought a 15" xlc with the same 250a2 running it and it pounds a lot harder than the 2 12's did and I'm getting realy low lows. With the same amp I was suprised at how hard it pounds, I can tell people I have 2 12's of a better make and they believe me. This is the type of speaker you mom warned you about.

Strengths:
this thing puts out lots of realy good lows but still is pretty responsive for a 15" sub. I'm glad I bought it and when you pin it people will turn their heads as you drive by. This thing bumps so hard it vibrates my rear view mirrors til they are down.

Weaknesses:
for fast music it's not the most responsive sub, so I usually turn my sub off and use my sound to do the fast music. and the box takes up way too much rook in my trunk.

2 12" rockford punch's
