Review 1 of 3 Year / Model Reviewed: Volvo 740 Turbo Summary: Paid $229 (CAN) each for 'em at my local dealer.
Very easy to install although dropping in a boxed sub is even easier. These are supposed to be strapped down facing the rear of the car (see above). Bought them on the spot after testing them in-store. Very tight. Powered by my Phoenix Gold 250 clean. These boys only need 50 watts RMS so they're way over-powered but works fine! The one thing U have to do before U buy 'em is test fit in your trunk to see if they'll fit front to back on the sides of your trunk.
If you just want very clean Bass at low power level requirements these are for U, very efficient for what they produce. Strengths: Style - they fit nicely on each side of my trunk, and they look good! Easy to install Weaknesses: Caps out on the really low frequecies although this might be due to the fact that they're only 10's. The stupid straps they come with have to be pulled really tight to prevent them from moving back&forth in the trunk. Similar Products Used: My first sub was a Nakamichi SP 1010 mounted in a giant box. It took up my whole trunk.
