Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $135.00 from Crutchfield.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 ODw1200

Summary:
I am runinng two of these (pushpull system) in a ported box with 1.5ft^3 for each. They are underpowered with my MTX 2150 (200 rms @ 2Ohms each) but they still slam! They are very versitile- sound great on most styles of music.

Strengths:
loud (they make my eyelashes vibrate!) clean versitile DVC- wiring options look great

Weaknesses:
lacks accuracy (probably because they''re underpowered)

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $135.00

Summary:
These subs hit very hard. I did have two sony explodes in a sealed box that I got from crutchfield also and those sucked, I would not recommend those to anyone. Then I sent the explodes back and got the odw1200 on a buy one get one free special. The price for one on there was $270, but at buy one get one free, no other place on the web could beat $135 per sub. I currently have a california amp that is putting 400 watts rms to each sub at 2 ohms. I have them in a sealed box, and I am loving the crispness I am getting from it. They shake everything around them. I was parked about 20 ft away for a 4 car garage that was closed up and it was shaking stuff off of the back shelves in the garage, I had to go turn down my subs, because I was getting tired from catching falling objects. I could NEVER imagine blowing one of these subs. Like one of the other odw1200 review says, "virtually indestructible" and that is true. These subs are 5 stars for sure. A guy from my work wanted to hear my subs, he also has a pair of subs in his car (two Rockfords), and he said mine made his eyes water, not to mention he had heard 3 jl 12w0's in a car before and he said that my 2 odw1200 hit harder. By the way I have a chevy blazer.

Strengths:
Hit Hard, Indestructible

Weaknesses:
None

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $135.00

Summary:
Using 2 12's in a single bandpass box, gives and amazing sound. The fact that these subs have a dual voice coil let's you run them at 2 ohms. I'm just running a 500x2 jensen amp at 2 ohms, and it responds nicely. Compared to two rockford fostgate series one 12's that I had before, it's a huge improvement. All that could make these subs better, is a more powerful amp.

Strengths:
Dual Voice Coil and massive magnet, allows you to turn in up

Weaknesses:
Relatively big, and pretty heavy

Review 4 of 4

Summary:
I paid way to much for the sub because I wnet through a dealer. But even at $245 it is an incredible sub. I had a JL powerwedge box vented and designed for 1 JL 12w0 so it didn't sound the best it could have. I was using test CD's rated at 5hz and it was picking it up. Incredible sound for just one sub. My previous system were 2 12w0's and tey couldn't even touch it. All i had for power was an Alpine MRV-100M rated at 250 watts at 4ohms, and the speakers are rated at 400 rms and 1200 max, truly an amazing sub. And now since I have found them for $155 a piece truly an excellent deal.

Strengths:
Great frequency response, extremely loud, virtually indestuctable.

Weaknesses:
Very picky about power supply and air space.
