Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $70.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Coustic 12RS

Summary:
These subs shocked me. I bought them off ebay just because they were lightweight, cheap and barely used. The ratings on the subs are I think 250watts max each. I had a soundstream Rubicon 1002 running them for a while, turned the amp down to about 600watts and the subs took it no problem at all! I was shocked. I bought them to use in the winter when a loud system wasnt needed and they held up and are still holding up great. I have them running in a 2.5ft box.

Strengths:
Value. Reliability if you realize that they are not SPL subs. Simple looks. Lightweight.

Weaknesses:
Cant hit low notes and will bottom out if way to much power is given to them.

Similar Products Used:
Only other product I have used in the coustics same class would be some MTX 6000's. I got them for free and still have nothing good to say about them!
