from Stereo Outlet Year / Model Reviewed: 13w7 Summary: What can I say? This baby is a work of art. Im currently driving this sub in my lil Acura Legend with a RF Power 1500bd and it pounds like crazy without any distortion at even the highest volume. Anyone with heart problems I recommend staying away from this sub. It literally will make your heart jump out of your chest. The dishes in my kitchen rattles if I turn it 3/4 of the on in the driveway. On the other hand, if youre just going for a cruise late night, the JL 13w7 will soothe your soul. The SQ is uncomparable and far superior to any other sub I have ever heard. It is crystal clear, tight, and deep no matter what kind of music you listen to. From the slightest water drop to rock bands to all you Tupac lovers. I recommend this sub to all who could afford it. I love it when a big SUV pull over next to me and start playing their wimpy system. The FUN begins when they stare at me wondering how a small car could sound sooooo sweet >:) Oh yea, youre gonna need one hell of alot dynamat and check all your bolts every now and then. Strengths: Superior SQ. Simple yet stylish looks. Freakishly powerful with amazing clarity even at full throttle. Have I said SQ is simply amazing?!?! You just gotta hear it to believe it. Weaknesses: Like the ad says, it has the ability to warp you in and out of time and space. Also prepare to upgrade youre charging system as this baby is power hungry. I think Im gonna need to replace my alternator pretty soon :) Price is a lil steep but if you want the best there is, JL 13w7 is it. SQ is superior to all the subs that I have ever installed or used myself and as for SPL, there are few rivals. Box are expensive to built if you desire good quality and grilles are hard to find. So many bolts to retighten after awhile!!! Similar Products Used: JL for automobiles can be compared to Bose for home theather. Most common of a Lamborghini. If you got the money for it, GO GET IT!!! Or else, RF Power HX2 or Kicker 15L7s would do. Alpines or Polk MoMos would do on the lower budget end.
