from Crutchfield Year / Model Reviewed: 2000 Thunder 8000 10inch Summary: Great Sub. I only got one of them, and i use it as a substitute for my larger setup (when i need the cargo room). Bass is punchy but round and deep. Slow reaction time (due to in large part the design of the magnet, suspension and surround), but depending on how you box it this can be minimized. Good all around audio quality sub if you give it tons of power. Pushes out sound of a 12inch sub at times. Rocks hard if you set it up in a tri-box. Strengths: Ultra-low frequency response, power handling, overall quality. Weaknesses: Slow reaction. High impedance. Weight (but what do you expect w/a sub designed for competiton?) Similar Products Used: MB Quart, Kenwood Amps, Rockford Fosgate Amps, Kicker, Eclipse
