Summary:
I agree with everyone else that I have spoken to with regards to this sub. It is TRULY excellent! Great workmanship, looks, engineering and great sound! As everyone who knows me will attest, I love to listen to rock. Not only rock, but music that is extremely demanding on speakers, especially a subwoofer. You might say that many songs that I listen to not only require a quality sub, but DEMAND one! Based on my experience, I have pushed my P2 to the limit and it only responds by punishing me with clear and hard hitting bass! I think my heart must have moved an inch or two? Anyhow, there is no question that when you hook up this sub with a QUALITY source unit (eg. Clarion) and a QUALITY amp. (Fosgate) you get magic! If you want to talk about "technical bass" well, even my friend who is a Studio Sound Engineer thought it sounded great! One thing to keep in mind that I heard and seems to be true is that Fosgate subs are MADE FOR Fosgate amps. Please remember that. Bottom line: If you want the best subwoofer in this price range, do not look any further! As a customer, I would say that I am not only completely satisfied with this product, but it has surpassed my expectations!

Summary:
I'm relatively new to the car stereo market but i do know good sound when i hear it and i didn't find it in my pair of Fosgate 10's... I got a pretty good deal on them so i thought how bad could they be? they are fosgate right? well they failed. I am completely unimpressed with the low frequency bass they put out. They are rated to go down to 20hz but i didnt hear it. These speakers are crap and im gonna have to go drop the dime and get some better subs (probably some infinity perfects)

Strengths:
Good mid-base. Relatively low distortion at low levels

Weaknesses:
Terrible low frequency sq...sounds like a buzz rather than boom
