Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $460.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2003, rfd 2218

Summary:
these subs are very good. i have 2 in a 8 cubic foot box with a 75 square inch port that is 17 inches long. avril lavigne's skater boy first part bass really hits. i had 12 10s in a 14 cubic foot box running 3 times the wattage (3000) and these 18s come real close to them. they are great for bass under 50 hz but im going to suplement them with 8 10s for 50 to 100 hz.

Strengths:
shakes the crap outta you. hitts very well in the low lows under 50 hz.

Weaknesses:
not much to talk about in the upper range over 50 hz. loud but not good.
