Review 1 of 23

Price Paid:  $304.00 from EBAY at Reagan Tire

Year / Model Reviewed:
1993 Mustang LX 5,0

Summary:
Living in MA presents all kinds of driving - deep snow, flooding rain, extreme heat, extreme cold.

My Mustang is light and quick, and I drive it year round, no kidding. I have 3:73 gears, posi diff and 5 spd trans.

I've driven on Cooper Cobras, Cooper LifeLiners, Firestone INDYs and Dunlop Sport A2s with this car over the last 5 years.

The Cobra, hands down, is the best tire I've ever driven on. The LifeLiner is terrible. The INDY's were ok but terrible tread life. The Dunlops were ok, similar to Cobras but VERY expensive.

BUY THE COOPER COBRA GT TIRE AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Strengths:
SNOW, RAIN, DRY, TREADWEAR, PRICE.

Weaknesses:
BALANCING WAS DIFFICULT.

Similar Products Used:
COOPER LIFELINER - DON'T BUY
FIRESTONE INDY - DON'T BUY
DUNLOP SPORT A2 - TOO EXPENSIVE

Review 3 of 23

Price Paid:  $65.00 from Local Retailer

Year / Model Reviewed:
1993 Thunderbird V8

Summary:
For the price you pay, there is no possible way to get better performance. I see many complaining about them not being grippy enough, but I am to only assume they're using the wrong tire for their car completely. There are also several different Cobra's available in different speed ratings that become increasingly grippier.

I've used these on my '89 Celica awd turbo, two '93 thunderbirds which have been modded, an '89 probe gt (only on fronts, p.o.s.'s in back), and I have to say for the cost my cars couldn't handle any better than they do now. I live in a mountainous region with lots of corners, and these tires still last an incredible 50-75,000 miles despite how much tread they've left on the ground from peeling out.

Strengths:
Handling prowess for the cost is unbelievable. If you're FWD make sure you change your tire pressures accordingly or you may not get the best performance from them

Weaknesses:
If you're in a RWD car and you're not on a dry road, the car will probably get stuck. Offroad traction is nill, none, zero. With my tbird placed in "D" I can get out of my car to see the back wheels spinning on gravel, seemingly making no effort to actually move the car.

Similar Products Used:
Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTS (Awful tire)
Toyo Spectrums (Good for FWD)

Review 4 of 23

Price Paid:  $80.00 from Gobi's Service

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 Cooper Cobra GT

Summary:
These tires are the best all-around bang for the buck I have ever come across. I have these tires on a 1987 Monte Carlo SS. They hold the road like they're on rails, last forever, look great, are quiet, smoke nice, and are the perfect combination of hard tire performance and soft tire ride. It's all I'll put on my Monte. Can't be beat, especially for the price.

Strengths:
Looks, wet traction, dry traction, great smoke-show tire, long life, smooth and quiet ride, overall tight performance.

Weaknesses:
I think not.

Price Paid:  $80.00 from Gilleti's

Year / Model Reviewed:
1985 TA

Summary:
The Cooper Cobra is the best tire out there. I swear that they have more tread today than 40,000 miles ago. Spins nice in the parking lot and the Raised White Letters get all the girls. JP would be so proud.

Strengths:
Lifetime Tread Wear

Weaknesses:
