2006 falken fk452 Summary:
i bought 4 falken fk452 £65 each 225/45/17 for an audi a3 tdi 130 bhp quattro(4 wheel drive) and its been chipped to 180 bhp.
i have had the tyres for 6 mths and have done 9-10000(7/10) miles of very hard driving and all 4 are on tread wear limits.
they stick very well in the dry (9/10),
they are good in the wet(8/10) and keep the car on course even when aqua planing(10/10).
when they do let go its all very civilised and controllable even in the wet (10/10).
they are ok in the snow (5/10)
total 49/60
for the money nothing comes close to these tyres and they could probably hold thier own against many 'premium' tyres that cost 2x or more ! Strengths:
wet & dry,aqua planing, sliding controlably Weaknesses:
snow and lowish mileage (9-10000 miles hard driving )
