In the rain, in the snow and on dry roads, the Eagle RS-A Radial's unique asymmetrical tread design
In the rain, in the snow and on dry roads, the Eagle RS-A Radial's unique asymmetrical tread design offers superior traction to help you keep your course. And with its premium sidewall styling, it looks as good as it performs. Available in 14-17 inch sizes.
Summary: These tires came factory on my 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. I recently had to replace them after putting 66,700 miles on them over the course of a two and a half years. They lasted as long as they did even though they were abused from time to time (e-braking, speeds in excess of 140 mph, hard cornering and lots of time on gravel roads.) I also didn't keep up with the rotation as much as I should have. All said and done I would have bought these again if I could have found them with the same speed rating without having to pay dealership prices. (The tires that came on it were V rated, and I could only find H rated RSA's in my area.) If you like to push your car on the road or the track these tires will keep up with you and give you plenty of warning when they need to be replaced.
Strengths: Very long tread life, good dry traction, stand up to abuse well, little loss of performance throughout tire life.
Weaknesses: A little shaky in high speed cornering, could have better wet traction.
Similar Products Used: Yokohama V4S, Bridgestone Potenza.

Summary: I just drove through a typical winter situation in Eastern Canada and let me say that it was one of the scariest things I have ever gone through. After driving through the storm I thought that I was just expecting to much out of the tires but a couple of days later I drove back home taking the same route and 90 percent of the roads were bare and all was well. During a couple of pass attempts I went through a small amount of slush and nearly had to turn around to pick up my heart that almost jumped out of my chest. I would expect that from a set of tires with 100,000 kms on them, not 25000 kms. I have owned my car since late spring 2007 and until the snow came I had no problems with the tires, but unfortunately snow is a reality that all Canadians have to deal with. I will be doing a lot of driving in the next couple of months and it is very disappointing that I just bought a new car and now I have to go out and drop cash on a new set of tired that can make up for the shortfalls of these tires.
Strengths: They havnt fallen off the car yet.
Weaknesses: Everything except sunny weather.

Summary: GOODYEAR EAGLE RS-A
P205/55R16 (for my car)
I own a 2004 Chevy Caviler, which I bought in April 2004. These particular tires were the tires that came 'stock' with my car, when i purchased it. My car now has 70,134 miles on it... and there still is a wee bit of tread on them. I am a typical female, who rarely gets her tires rotated, (maybe 2 times???) and i drive my car for my job. (A nurse for Home Health)I have had all 4 of my tires plugged though, one in each tire (just my luck). I have had these tires through the rain/show/sleet/ice... like i said.. my job involves being out in every weather condition, at all hours, everyday.
Overall, these tires are still holding on!!!! WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!
100% will be buying the same tire again this coming week when I am buying new tires!!
I reccomend these tires for any car, well whatever they can fit/be used on!

Summary: I've had the Goodyear Eagle RSA's on since i bought my impala in March. I push my car to the limit everyday, since its a police package impala, i figured it could take it. I've had no issues with the tires though, they hug the road so well, i can usually do about 90mph+ going through a turn. They handle pretty well in the rain also, i had the utmost confidence in my tires. guess its just me. as far as tread life, thats another issue. i got the vehicle with great tread life, i kinda forgot to have the tires rotated every 3k miles, so now i have 2 worn tires and 2 decent ones. i've only driven about 20k on them and its a wrap for the front 2. but if i could catch these tires for a good price, i'd definitely grab another set.
Strengths: hugs well at high speeds, low noise, good in rain.
Weaknesses: treadlife is way too short

Summary: The tires were good in the snow, but were a disappointment otherwise. The side-wall wore out before the tread did, so I need to replace them while there is still tread left on them, or put up with load, wheel-bearing like noise until the tread wears out. I replaced the tires with another brand, and the wheel noise completely disappeared. These tires leak like sieves, so carry a tire pump with you at all times - you will need to pump them up at least once a week, and once they get a little wear in them, more than once a week. They are very subject to flats. You will be repairing one of them once a month or more, so carry a tire-plugging set with you.
Strengths: VERY Good traction on snow and ice. I was able to drive when other cars were sliding all over the place. However, this could have been the traction control on the car as much as it was the tires.
Weaknesses: Not ready for prime time yet. Worst tires I have ever owned.
