Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $60.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1991 Honda Accord EX

Summary:
These really are Excellent tires I think they are even better than some of the higher priced tires. I liked them so much that i told my family members about them and let them drive my car and throw it around a bit to get a feel for them and they loved them and ended up putting them on ther cars (2 Sets Of 4)And these were older gentlemen who are a hard sell and to this day they swear by them.

Strengths:
great in the rain I also felt at high speeds that they had excellent road manners even at 110 mph (at the track of course)

Weaknesses:
they can seam a little jumpy at first in the cornering

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $41.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1988 VW Scirocco

Summary:
Great price and a pretty good overall tire. These were fairly competent on the highway and had excellent tread wear. I had them for over a year and they showed almost no wear. They were good in wet traction with hardly any hydroplaning. Not great in the snow, but ok. I really didn't drive in the snow much as I bought another car. The only complaint I have is that they didn't have the feel for the road that my Pirellis had. Cornering didn't feel as good with the Nitto tires. Keep in mind that at the time I was a very aggresive driver and demanded a lot out of my tires. Overall, I do believe that these are great tires for everyday use. I would buy them again, especially at the price I paid.

Strengths:
Price, decent overall tire

Weaknesses:
Only moderately high performance

Review 4 of 4

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1993 Nissan Altima GLE

Summary:
In the end I would have to say for the price paid, $292.00($47 ea. plus S&H,taxes, mounting & balancing) Discount Tire direct fee of $242 and dealer installation $50. These tires give you the best bang for your buck! They serve as a good compromise between handling and comfort. They come with an HR speed rating and a pretty good treadwear rating.( In hopes not to incriminate myself, lets just say that at 120 MPH you better trust that 5" or so contact patch.)

Strengths:
-Price is hard to beat when compared to store retailers and there offerings
-Excellent highway cruiser
-Low tire noise emitted into cabin at cruising speeds (For me that's between 65-80 MPH)
-Good handling and predictable step-out at tires limits
-Treadwear rating has proven itself, my tires have about 28,000 miles. Accept for the front two which have occured numerous peel-outs and higher than suggested entrance and exiting corner speeds.(On public roads I might add)Which has lead too premature rounding on the edges, now partially rectified by a rotation.

Weaknesses:
-Wet weather handling is decent, better at full rain conditions than at a light spraying.
-I have noticed when making 90 degree turns from a full stop in wet weather, the tire slips for traction even with moderate throttle tip-in( More prone in light rain also)

Similar Products Used:
When the car was first alloted to me it came equipped with BFGoodrich Touring T/A. The T/A did not handle nearly as well in dry or wet conditions. This may be due to the fact the tires already had seen half there tire life.
