Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $70.00 from Sears Automative

Year / Model Reviewed:
1993 Sumitomo

Summary:
Purchsed a set of 4 tires for 1993 Corolla DX about 2 years ago. They are good on dry pavement, but are not so on wet ones, especially on highway ramps - skidding - almost lost control of the front wheels twice at moderate speed.

Strengths:
Good looking, made in Japan (should be quality product)

Weaknesses:
Skidding on wet curves at moderate speed

Similar Products Used:
BF Goodrich, Fuzion, Goodyear (better tires)

Review 2 of 3

Summary:
these came as part of a set of aftermarket rims i had puchased about a 13 or 14 months ago. the jet black low pro rubber wrapped around the gleaming chrome from the day i recieved them to present. i have yet to receive any blow outs, flats, or problems whatsoever with this set (knock on wood).

the traction and grip is very good in the various types of weather we tend to get here in jersey (everything from freezing snow to torrential rain, summer rush hour stop and go traffic, back to freezing snow).

Strengths:
-the traction was/is great
-no severe signs of wear yet
-$100 each for low profile? can't be beat

Weaknesses:
they give "dignity to mediocrity".
they're not pirellis.
but then, they don't claim to be.

Similar Products Used:
eagle, hydro guard, etc.

Review 3 of 3

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1990 bmw modified 5series

Summary:
90.00 dollars a tire. yes, but be prepared for lots of rotations

Strengths:
great wet and dry and even snow handling. I think they own dunlop so technology is shared

Weaknesses:
noisy when cold, squeals before limits are encountered, tread wear suffers and must be rotated religeously, hard to keep balanced

Similar Products Used:
dunlop D40m2 and dunlop sp8000 very competative
