Summary:
I have only owned this truck for a few months, but I love almost everything about it. The 4.3 liter vortec engine gives me all the power i need and then some. This is the last year chevy is making this truck so I know it is the last one I will ever own. thats kind of sad.

Summary:
I have nothing nice to say about the truck .It is slow to pick up speed air noise even parked at the windows, from the fan. tranny will rev up the motor to 3000rpm and refuses to go . Less than 300 miles into its life, and i hate it.I will never buy chevy or jeep again they suck plain and simple some one want a piece of crap its for sale

cold air ought to be my cold hard earned money blowing out the vents hmm

Summary:
I recently purchased my S-10 and was very suprised to see all the stuff that came standard. On the advice of a GM mechanic I made sure to get the 4.3 Vortec motor and an automatic tranny. The mechanic has a 94 S-10 with 130,000 on it and is sure it will go to 200-260M without trouble. All parties that I have talked to said to make sure the oil gets changed every 3000 miles. Hell, even the operators maintenance schedule has that one. And with my deal, I get the oil changed for free as long as I own the truck. I would reccomend that if you get an S-10, that you get a standard 2 wheel drive with the 4.3 Vortec and skip the underpowered smaller engin.

Strengths:
It has a strong motor, good AC, excellent sound system and good hauling capacity. Just right for two folks with no kids at home.

Weaknesses:
Too early to tell.

This is my 2nd S-10 4.3 auto LS xcab great little truck. motor pulls strong and is pretty quick.

Summary:
This truck is so awsome. It beats the mercury mystique by a long shot. Dont ever buy those, they are a huge waste of money. Back to the s-10, it's a great little truck, and handles the road very well. I'd like to recommend this truck to all those chevy fans out there.

Strengths:
GAS MILEAGE!!! It just doesn't burn gas!

Weaknesses:
A little slow off the start.
