Good relationship for over 30 years

Review 2 of 148

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
zero

Weaknesses:
i made payment arrangments to pay off a claim i had with them. i paid the claim off a month early and they suspended my license with the state and never told me i was supposed to request paperwork from them to have it unsuspended. it should not have been suspended in the first place. now i am trying to get the paperwork from them and now i have talked to them twice once on wednesday and then today (monday). on wed they told me they would send me the paperwork i needed and it would take 3 days, still have not gotten it. called them today, they said it will take 3-5 days. when i asked for a supervisor i told the sup that i wanted it emailed to me, he said 24-48 hrs, i told him that was unacceptable and he started giving me lip. because someone at state farm and their associated law firm, wilburn and associates did not do their job in the first place i am not able to drive my car and i got arrested for having a suspended license that again should not have been suspended in the first place! Someone at Statee farm needs to get off their ass and make this right.

Summary:
Never do business with state farm or wilburn and associates if you can avoid it. they are not worth the time or effort

Review 3 of 148

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2005 TrailBlazer

Strengths:
Local office genuinely tries to help.

Weaknesses:
Corporate offices do not care about their loyal customers, or about who is responsible for accidents. They do not understand that their customers do not want accidents to happen.

Summary:
I had no problems at all, until claims were filed. This company notified me that my account was going to be cancelled due to an excessive number of claims. I was not at fault during any of the accidents, and I had the police reports to prove it. They didn't care. They will remove me from their insurance at the end of next month. This is an awful experience, and I will remove all my other policies (life and home) from there as well.

Review 4 of 148

Price Paid:  $3500.00 from edmonton dealer

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 ford taurus

Strengths:
None

Weaknesses:
Slipery company. Only after the money in your pocket and dont want anything else to do with you.

Summary:
Was Insured with state farm for $210 a month. Then all of a sudden they started taking $265 a month out of my account without telling me. Went in to the local state farm office and asked them why. nobody could explain why, said it was the head office that did it and they could not explain it but it was still going to be taken out every month. Im going cancelling my policy now with these thiefs.

Review 5 of 148

Price Paid:  $10000.00 from dealer

Year / Model Reviewed:
1994 Nissan

Strengths:
met legal requirements

Weaknesses:
no customer service

Summary:
Someone broadsided me. totaled my car. The agent with whom I had paid premiums for over a decade was totally useless; provided no help, direction. It was like dealing with high schoolers. Had to retain lawyer because they refused to help. Too stupid or too lazy? Doesn't matter. They didn't do their job. Changing carriers as soon as I clean up this mess.

been with State Farm too long to compare. Will update after I've changed carriers.
